Change can be difficult to manage and may bring up all sorts of thoughts and feelings. Changes relating to our work can present additional challenges; often our work place is a place we spend a great deal of time and we may view this as the way in which we can support our loved ones and keep a roof over our head. We may not have a choice about the transition e.g. if we are made redundant or because of ill health. Alternatively, we may want to make a change, this may relate to difficult feelings we have in our current role such as performance anxiety, anger management problems, stress, bullying or strained relationships with colleagues. It could also be that you want to go for a promotion, change career, move into self-employment.
